PluralEnsemble is an instrumental ensemble specialized in 20th and 21st century music, founded by Fabián Panisello, its principal conductor.
Always seeking the highest interpretative quality, it develops an annual season of concerts and tours, alternating the most demanding soloist repertoire with works for ensemble.
Since 2009, he has developed the BBVA Foundation’s Contemporary Music Concert Series, and currently designs and stars in part of the Foundation’s Music Season.
Throughout his career he has performed to great critical and public acclaim at the main specialized international festivals, such as New Music Week in Shanghai, Sound Ways in St. Petersburg, Musica in Strasbourg, Atempo in Caracas, Présences in Paris, Ars Musica in Brussels, Manca in Nice, Spaziomusica in Cagliari, Aspekte in Salzburg, IFCP Mannes in New York, the Alicante Music Festival, the Quincena Musical in San Sebastian, the WDR cycle in Cologne, Nous Sons at the Auditori in Barcelona, the Warsaw Autumn Festival, Ultraschall, Konzerthaus in Berlin and Klangspuren Schwaz in Tyrol, among others.
He collaborates with artists such as Peter Eötvös, Salome Kammer, Hilary Sum- mers, Cristóbal Halffter, Marco Blaauw, Jörg Widmann, Dimitri Vassila- kis, Nicholas Isherwood , Alda Caiello, Allison Bell, José Manuel López López, Siegfried Mauser, Jorg Widman, Wolfgang Lischke, Cristian Bal- dini, Nicolas Altstaedt, Zsolt Nagy, César Camarero, Jon Ketilsson, Pablo Márquez, Charlotte Hellekant, Matthias Pintscher, Hansjorg Schellen- berger, Tadeusz Wielecki, Lorraine Vaillancourt, Marco Angius, Natalia Zagorinskaya, Peter Csaba, Johannes Kalitzke, Luis de Pablo or Toshio Hosokawa.
He has made numerous recordings for several European radio stations (WDR, RBB, RNE, RF, ORF, RTBF or Polish Radio among many others), as well as recordings for the labels IBS, Col legno, Columna Música, Verso, Cervantes and NEOS.
