Antonio Lapaz
Antonio Lapaz is a native of Requena (Valencia). He obtained his Superior Degree in Valencia, continuing his training in Austria with Alfred Prinz and Reinhard Wieser. Subsequently, he pursued postgraduate and advanced studies with Enrique Pérez, Wenzel Fuchs and Fabrizio Meloni.
About
He has been a member of the Youth Orchestra of the Valencian Community and the European Youth Orchestra. He has given numerous Master Classes and Improvement Courses for the JONDE, at the Conservatorio Superior de Jaén, the Conservatorio de Benidorm, the Escuela Superior de Música “Reina Sofia” in Madrid or the “AcademIa Janacek” in Brno (Czech Republic), among others.
He has collaborated with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Nacional de España, Orquesta de Cámara ”Reina Sofía” de Madrid, Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid… conducted by Simon Rattle, Frübeck de Burgos or Cristóbal Soler, among others. Specializing in Contemporary Music, he collaborates with the Plural Ensemble, a group with which he has performed concerts throughout Europe and Asia. Antonio is currently Clarinet Soloist of the Municipal Symphonic Band of Madrid.
