He began his musical studies at the École Nationale de Musique de Bayonne with Jacques Doué, continuing them at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with Frans Helmerson and A. L. Quintana. He forms a duo with the pianist Carlos Apellániz and the accordionist A. L. Castaño. He has also collaborated with the group Taima Granada, as soloist cello of the French Chamber Orchestra and with the Casals Quartet.
For seven years he has held the cello chair at the Conservatorio Superior de Valencia. He currently teaches at the Conservatorio Superior de Aragón.
