Elies Monxolí
Elies Monxolí Cerveró studied music at the Conservatory of Valencia, and finished his studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with Francisco Burguera, obtaining the title of Professor of Horn. Further studies with Dale Clevenger, Eric Terwilliger, Martin Hackleman, Fergus McWilliam and others.
About
He has worked as horn soloist (and/or tutti) of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Euskadi, Orquesta de Radio y Televisión Española, Orquesta Nacional de España, Orquesta Sinfónica de Madrid and Orquesta de València among others.
He is currently horn soloist in PluralEnsemble and horn professor at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid.
He has composed and interpreted poems of some great poets such as Salvador Espriu, Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel, Mario Benedetti or Kostantinos Kavafis (recorded on CD). He has completed doctoral studies in music at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and in literature at the Universidad Complutense in the same city.
