Enrique Cotolí
Born in Algimia de Alfara (Valencia), on December 29, 1974. He studied at the Conservatorio Superior de Música "Joaquín Rodrigo" in Valencia, where he finished his studies in 1996.
That same year he joined the “Orquestra Simfònica del Vallés” until 1998. Year in which he takes his place in the “Orquesta y Coro de la Comunidad de Madrid”, where he is currently Trombone Soloist. It is in this orchestra where he has made his career as a performer and from which he has developed his facet within chamber music, performing as a soloist, and with various chamber ensembles.
He is currently a member of the Trombone Choir “TROBADA” and the brass quintet “TUBULAR BRASS”. It is worth mentioning his continuous participation as a member of PluralEnsemble, which has given him a total link with the most avant-garde contemporary music. In his pedagogical facet he has belonged to the cloisters of the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Zaragoza (from 1998 to 2002), Conservatorio Profesional de Música de “Amaniel” and “Angel Arias Maceín” of Madrid (from 2002 to 2004). Since the 2004-05 academic year, he has been Professor at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid.
