Lope Morales
Born in Beas de Segura, he studied at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Jaén and, after obtaining the best grade in the entrance exam to the Superior Grade in Andalusia, he continued at the Victoria Eugenia Superior Conservatory of Music in Granada with Javier Castiblanque. He finished his studies at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid with professors Jacques Zoon and Salvador Martínez, obtaining the prize for the most outstanding student of the Flute and Chamber Music professorships awarded by the Queen Sofía.

He received a scholarship from Grupo Planeta and the Albéniz Foundation during his student years at the ESMRS.
In wind quintet formation has toured throughout Spain, playing in prestigious halls such as the Fundación Juan March or the chamber hall of the Auditorio Nacional in programs such as the cycle AIEnRUTA Clásicos.
Among other youth orchestras, he has been a member of the Orquesta Joven de Andalucía for 8 years and of the Academia de la Orquesta Ciudad de Granada for 4 years.
He has collaborated as principal flute in the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, principal piccolo in the RTVE and Valencia orchestras, and has collaborated with other orchestras such as the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Maestranza Theater of Seville, the Cordoba Orchestra and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Madrid.
He has performed as soloist at the National Auditorium with the ESMRS Camerata and conductor Peter Eötvös, with the Santa Cecilia Orchestra of Madrid and the municipal band of Jaén, and has been awarded in the chamber music competitions of the CSM Victoria Eugenia of Granada or in the Soloist competition of the CPM of Jaén.
He currently collaborates with Plural Ensemble, Orquesta de Córdoba and RTVE orchestra, as well as with the ESMRS Summercamp as a flute teacher.
