He studied composition with F. Kr\u00f6pfl in Buenos Aires and B. Schaeffer at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Schaeffer at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and with P. E\u00f6tvos in conducting. His music, “full of ideas, intense and brimming with energy” (Stockhausen), stands out for its driving force, lyricism, drama, harmonic refinement and expressiveness. It is performed by soloists, ensembles and orchestras, such as: Cuarteto Arditti, SWR Orchestra, Coro Nacionales de Espa\u00f1a, RTVE, Ensemble Modern, etc. In recent years, he has focused on opera, with titles such as <\/span>Le Malentendu<\/em>, <\/span>Les Rois Mages <\/span><\/em>or his latest composition: <\/span>Die Judith von Shimoda, <\/span><\/em>commissioned by the Bregenz Festival 2023; appearing in theaters in Nice, Tel Aviv, Berlin or Madrid.  During the 2023-24 season, she has premiered the <\/span>Horn Concert<\/em> <\/span>(Vlatkovi\u010d, Nielsen, RTVE), <\/span>Seven Japanese Sketches<\/em> <\/span>(Ortega, Amaryllis Quartett), L’\u00e2ge de la raison (Corrado, Syntax, Milano) and <\/span>Written in blue<\/em> <\/span>(Blanco, Nagy, Sinfonietta ESMRS).<\/p>\n

As a conductor he is highly regarded for his landmark versions of 20th and 21st century music. Founder and director of PluralEnsemble, he has performed in festivals such as Donaueschingen, Venice Biennale, Warsaw Autumn, Wien Modern, Pr\u00e9sences, Ars Musica, etc. His growing activity will lead him in 2023-24 to conduct programs such as E\u00f6tv\u00f6s 80 (Concerto Budapest Orchestra, VokalSolisten) and the ensembles Riot (London), United Berlin, Turning Point (Vancouver).<\/p>\n

He publishes his works with Edition Peters.<\/p>\n

Fabi\u00e1n Panisello (Argentina\/Spain) combines the facets of composer, conductor and teacher at the highest level.
