Alberto Esteve Giménez, oboe
Born in Elche (Alicante), in 1993. After completing a Masters degree in music at the “Hochschule für Musik und Theater” in Munich with the French oboist François Leleux, who he continues to work with. On completing his degree with Juan Carlos Báguena at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid, ending in 2016 with an honorable mention award.
He has been a member of the most important youth orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester (2019,2020), Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra (2016 – 2018), Joven Orquesta Nacional de España (2014 – 2020), etc. where he has worked with renowned conductors such as Christoph Eschenbach, Vladimir Jurowski, Krzysztof Urbański, Jonathan Nott, Wayne Marshal, Ton Koopman and Michael Sanderling, amongst others.
In the Professional field working as a Oboe Soloist in the Community Orchestra of Madrid (2016 and 2020), and in the Philarmonisches Orchester Regensburg (2017 – 2018). He has also collaborated with the National Orchestra of Spain, Orchestra of the Valencian Community ( Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia), the Orchestra of the Radio Television of Spain (OCRTVE), and many more.
In the area of chamber music he has performed concerts as a member of the soloist quintet of the Staatsoper Akademieorchester in Munich, the Plural Enselmble, the Koan II group; and the Ensembles of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, the EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra) and Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival orchestra.
He won first prize in the national oboe contest; invited and organized by the Lions Club in Tenerife, 2012. As well as that, the prize of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Madrid in the category of “Soloist”.
